Millicent lives in Kibera with her husband, who runs a small tea kiosk, and their five children. She describes Kibera as dangerous and a bad environment for her children, and hopes to move out of the slum. Before joining Kipepeo, she used to hawk cooked food to passers-by. She is now working as a paper maker and feels proud that she can send her children to school.
Hopes for the future
Millicent desires to provide higher education for her children to create a better foundation for their future. She hopes to open a small business in the future to help sustain her family.
