Godliver has spent 10 years in Kibera - she has to pay for water that has to be carried from the water point to her home in 20l containers and to use the public toilet as they don't have one. She pays about £6.00 per month for a room in Kibera where she lives with her three children. Godliver was recently widowed and finds life difficult. She describes her work at Kipepeo as uplifting, and she knows that nothing is impossible.

Role at Kipepeo

Godliver is a paper maker, recycling waste paper to make the cards on which designs are applied.

Hopes for the future

Godliver would like to move back up-country, and purchase tents and chairs to rent, when she moves on from Kipepeo Designs.
